Are you passionate about leveraging data to ensure the well-being of employees and enhance workplace safety? Principal People are working with a large utilities business that is seeking a talented Group Health & Safety Data Analyst to join their dynamic team.

If you're skilled in PowerBI, familiar with health and safety, and have a keen eye for detail, this opportunity is for you!

Offering a hybrid working model with 3 days a week in their office near Falkirk and 2 at home, you will be supporting their Group Head of Health and Safety with analysis of data generated through day-to-day operations, as well as the integrated management system, allowing for more informed decisions at the strategic level.

The Successful Health & Safety Data Analyst will be Responsible for:
  • Utilising PowerBI and their CRM to analyse health and safety data, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Developing insightful dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics related to workplace safety and health compliance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven strategies for enhancing health and safety practices.
  • Conducting thorough data audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of health and safety data.
  • Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices to inform data analysis and recommendations.
  • Deliver presentations based on the analysis of data to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
The Health and Safety Data Analyst will Require:
  • Proven experience as a data analyst.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI, with the ability to create complex reports and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
  • The ability to adapt to a new CRM
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Prior experience in the utilities or health and safety industry is a plus.
