Industrial Installation Electrician

Our client, a leading engineering and maintenance provider, is seeking an Industrial Installation Electrician to join their team. With expertise across various industries including manufacturing and engineering, our client enhances the efficiency of assets, reduces maintenance costs, and ensures a high level of availability for their customers.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings. You will troubleshoot electrical problems, read and interpret electrical schematics, and collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with electrical codes, provide training to apprentices, and keep accurate records of your work.
Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in industrial settings.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues with electrical systems and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagrams to install and maintain electrical systems and equipment.
• Install electrical control systems for industrial machinery and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects.
• Provide training and guidance to apprentices and other junior electricians.
• Keep accurate records of electrical work performed and electrical equipment and supplies.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record working within the Process, Plant, and Power Generation Industries.
• Completed a Fully Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation/HNC/HND.
• JIB Registered Trade Card with Approved Electrician Grading or higher.
• City And Guilds 2380 18th Edition Qualification.
• City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in Electrical Testing and Inspection.
• CompEX EX01-EX04.
