The Company:

Our client is an established and successful organisation with offices in Philpstoun, West Lothian.  They are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Finance Supervisor to join their small, friendly team to assist the Finance Manager.

The Role:

The Finance Supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager with general Accounting procedures and associated administration. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Accounts receivable
  • Assist with Accounts Payable
  • Experience of Cash flow management
  • Assisting with VAT returns
  • Assisting with Management Accounts
  • Reconcile supplier statements 
  • Assist in month-end reporting 
  • Undertake ad hoc accounts administration responsibilities as required

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (essential)
  • Experience of Xero Accounting Software (highly desirable)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a similar Finance/Accounts role, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial processes and systems
  • Excellent Numeracy skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong organisational skills, allowing for effective management of multiple responsibilities and initiatives
