Senior Mechanical Estimator
Due to continued growth one of our clients based in the central belt is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Estimator. With a strong order book ahead, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and come join our client’s team on a full-time, permanent basis. This would ideally suit someone who has previous experienced within a medium / large contractor on a range of projects.
As a Senior Mechanical Estimator, you will be doing the following:
- Produce accurate and thorough estimates to ensure costs assessments are produced in a timely manner.
- Liaise closely with project managers and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met and within budget.
- Review the relevant blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.
- Keep up to date with the current market trends, labour costs and make accurate estimates from the relevant information.
The key skills / requirements / knowledge required:
- Previous experience in a medium / large contractor
- Proven experience as a Mechanical estimator within the Construction or M & E industry.
- Excellent knowledge of cost estimation software
- Excellent organisation and communication skills
