Senior Electrical Estimator

KBM’s client is currently looking for a Senior Electrical Estimator to come join them on a full-time, perm basis. Due to continued growth and constant project wins our client is looking for someone who can come join their team and enhance their current estimating department.

We are looking for someone who is ideally from an Electrical background and has a strong knowledge within this area. As a Senior Electrical Estimator you will be a key point of contact within our clients business. You will be working on a variety of different projects which include, residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Therefore, we are looking for someone who has a varied background on a number of different projects.

The key responsibilities will include:

• Liaising closely with contract managers, project managers and external stakeholders with regards to projects.
• Prepare submission documents in line with bid requirements.
• Attend tender settlement meetings to ensure all relevant cost information is available to complete the tender.
• Identify any opportunities for margin growth and analyse any risks.
• Prepare relevant estimates according to project requirements.
• Responsible for ensuring all budget queries are settled.
• Provide support and guidance to the relevant parties.

The key skills / knowledge / experienced required:

• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Recognised Electrical qualification (preferably a Qualified Electrician)
• A can do attitude.
• Excellent team player and have the ability to work independently when necessary.
