The responsibilities involve directing policy for Company owned Plant for On Track Machines, Road/Rail Vehicles, and rail plant, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and legislation. Additionally, managing an in-house workforce to operate and maintain the fleet of On-track machines and Rail only plant safely and effectively is crucial. Ensuring adherence to maintenance plans for the controlled plant, acting as the primary contact for Network Rail incidents, overseeing depot facility development, and standing in for the Head of Plant when necessary are also key duties.

THE PERSON

• Plant Manager
• Rail Experience - On Track Machines / Road & Rail Vehicles / rail plant
• Happy to work on call rota (1 in 4 weeks)

THE ROLE
