We are currently seeking an Agricultural Sprayer Engineer to join the Engineering Team, within an established company that provides support and products relating to land management and crop production.

Working for a company that prides itself on its innovative and customer centric approach, the successful candidate will be based out of their Dundee Depot and will provide customers with efficient diagnostics, repair and maintenance services on agricultural spray equipment.

Salary circa £25,000 - £35,000/pa

Duties to include but not limited to:

  • To install, service, diagnose and repair agricultural machines and crop sprayers.
  • Ensure all machinery & equipment are maintained, operated safely and aligned with company and manufacturer standards.
  • Document and record all works carried out, with administration completed in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and customers in relation to service schedules, ensuring a cohesive and efficient working environment.
  • To plan daily work schedules with team and customers in an efficient way.
  • Build effective relationships with all colleagues, customers and suppliers
  • Ensure all team members work in a safe manner and follow all Health & safety requirements and procedures.

What we are looking for:

  • Ideally sound knowledge of Agricultural machinery, plant, HGV, vehicle mechanics or similar machinery and it is essential you have proven hands on experience in servicing, repairs and vehicle electrics.
  • Customer centric approach with excellent communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, and able to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Best practice and innovative approach.
  • Good practical knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.
  • Experience of GPS and ISOBUS systems would be an advantage.
