Job Description:
 
Are you intrigued by the world of Real Estate and seeking to make your mark within a global organisation? Here's your chance! We're currently seeking an Estates Assistant to join our client’s vibrant team in Edinburgh. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with Senior Surveyors and Associates, playing a pivotal role in managing one of their prominent client accounts, spanning across the UK.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the team in overseeing day-to-day property affairs across a diverse UK-wide portfolio.
  • Coordinate with the internal Accounts Team to ensure timely payment of Rent and Service Charges.
  • Work closely with the Property Administration Team, facilitating database changes and invoice authorization.
  • Conduct property inspections to ensure optimal management.
  • Act as a liaison with landlords regarding minor issues, escalating when necessary.
  • Address tenant concerns, including repair issues and arrears.
  • Assist the Estates Helpdesk, offering lease interpretation support and liaising with Facilities Management suppliers.
 
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in property management is preferred, although training will be provided.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with a knack for learning new software.
  • Excellent customer service skills, adept at interacting with clients and colleagues of all levels.
  • Familiarity with finance and accounting, particularly in a property-related context, is advantageous.
  • Confident in client-facing roles, adept at managing high workloads, and possessing exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
