Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide range of projects, from design and development to implementation and maintenance. This role offers a unique chance for professional growth and hands-on experience in the field of electrical engineering.

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the design and development of electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems, and renewable energy systems.
  2. Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations to assess project requirements and constraints.
  3. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and efficient design solutions.
  4. Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Support project managers in project planning, budgeting, and scheduling activities.
  6. Participate in site visits, inspections, and commissioning activities as required.
  7. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  8. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations always.

Requirements:

  1. HNC or higher qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  2. Proficiency in electrical design software (e.g., EPlan, AutoCAD, MATLAB, ETAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Enthusiasm for learning and a proactive approach to professional development.
  6. Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
  7. Full UK Driving Licence

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Relevant internship or work experience in electrical engineering or related fields.
  2. Familiarity with building codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., BS 7671, IEC, NEC).
  3. Knowledge of sustainable design practices and renewable energy technologies.
  4. Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., IET, IEEE).
