The Opportunity

We now have an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter to join our regional engineering team, offering maintenance support to multiple sites in the area.

As a part of a team of engineers you’ll cover our Ready-mix & Asphalt sites as well as two Quarries across the Central Belt region giving you a real variety of environments, projects and faults to work with.

You’ll cover Monday-Friday days attending breakdowns and scheduled work across the region. Our base of operations for the area is at Duntiland, near Shotts so you’ll ideally be commutable to our site here. However, as this is a regional role you could be based anywhere across the Central Belt and with no fixed site so you’ll effectively have no commute as we’ll pay you from when you leave home till you get back.

Who you are

You’ll have experience working within a manufacturing, production or industrial environment. Ideally with knowledge of fabrication techniques and Pneumatic equipment.

Safety is a big part of our culture, so you’ll ideally have experience with Risk Assessments & Method Statements.

With this being a multi-site position, you’ll also need to hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
