Position Overview

They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team in Edinburgh. As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading and contributing to the design and implementation of electrical systems for cutting-edge projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of efficient and reliable electrical designs, meeting client specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities


1. Project Leadership: Take a lead role in electrical design projects, providing technical expertise and guidance to the project team.
2. Design Development: Develop and optimise electrical designs, ensuring they align with project requirements, budget constraints, and regulatory standards.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
4. Code Compliance: Ensure all electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
5. Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to incorporate innovative solutions into electrical designs.
6. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of electrical designs to identify and rectify any potential issues, ensuring the highest quality.
7. Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and present design solutions.
