Role: Freelance Site Engineers

Location: East of Scotland

Duration: 6 months

Our client is a leading civil engineering contractor who are looking to recruit a Site Engineer for 6 months period for water projects across Edinburgh and the Scottish Borders.

As the Site Engineer your responsibilities will include:

  • Site supervision and inductions.
  • Daily briefings with operatives and sub-contractors.
  • Setting out.
  • Quality control.
  • Ensure that safety targets and standards are always maintained.
  • Mentor and train junior staff.

What you can expect:

  • Immediate Start date for 6 months duration.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • £27 to £29 (Gross) per hour DOE.
  • Payment methods – PAYE or CIS.

What you’ll need:

  • Demonstrated experience working on civil engineering projects particularly on water projects.
  • Water experience is desirable.
  • A full UK driving license and own transport.
  • A valid CSCS Card.
