Senior Support Practitioner Opportunity - Up to 35 Hours Weekly East Renfrewshire

We're seeking a dedicated Senior Support Practitioner (Male)* to lead a close-knit team in empowering a young man with diverse support needs to live independently. Your role will involve providing both practical and emotional assistance, fostering his development across various life domains such as safety, engagement in meaningful activities, community integration, physical health, relationships, and emotional well-being.
 
As a leader within the team, you'll champion the person-centred approach, adhering to health and social care standards, and aligning with core values. Key responsibilities include guiding and supporting a team of practitioners to prioritise the individual's needs and aspirations.
 
Key Experience and Skills:
  • Proven experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively leading small teams.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in IT and excellent communication skills.
 
Requirements:
  • Flexibility to work shifts and participate in sleepovers.
  • SVQ Level 3 certification or higher.
  • Membership in the PVG Scheme.
 
Desirable:
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Experience in Positive Behaviour Support.
  • Background in trauma-based support.
