Support Engineer - Wind Turbines

Salary/Rate:
£45,000 - £50,000/annum

My client is a team of highly experienced and professional engineers who have an average of 15 years’ experience in the renewable sector each. We specialise in providing tailored O&M and servicing solutions for all wind turbine owners

What is the Role?

You will be working with a team of Technicians who take pride in the operation and maintenance our fleet.

Utilising information from our operations team you will perform scheduled maintenance, fault rectification and major component exchanges on our customers fleet of turbines on a daily basis

Qualifications/Requirements:

Authorised Engineer minimum of 5 years experience – in equivalent field or demonstrable experience with technical support within a wind turbine environment.

Support tech team with fault finding, work instructions for preventative and reactive maintenance

Good Knowledge of wind technical drawings and experience with OEM manuals and navigation

Advanced knowledge of WTSR

Good working knowledge of corrective repair and major corrective repair

Be communicable on the telephone regarding complex wind technical issues

Worked on V47/V52/V66/V80/G52/G8X turbines and especially V80 and V66

Good knowledge of special tooling for specific tasks

Working knowledge of the above turbines along correlates with the desired traits

Good knowledge of special tooling requirements for corrective and major corrective maintenance

Able to work at heights

High degree of flexibility,

Office based but some site work needed on site
