Maxwell Consultancy are working closely with an established engineering business in their search for a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer. This is a permanent position working out of their state of the art premises in North Ayrshire. The role is best suited to an electrical/mechanical engineer and involves planned preventative maintenance, service and breakdown of specialist machinery.
What's required?
- Electrical bias with solid mechanical maintenance experience
- Experience working within engineering or manufacturing
- Working with a range of materials, including stainless steels, alloys and aluminium
- Foundry equipment background beneficial - furnaces, injection moulding presses and shot blasting equipment
- Electrical control panels, 3 phase electrics, control circuits, wax presses, shell room and furnace equipment
- Ideally you will be qualified to a minimum HNC standard and can demonstrate a good knowledge of 415V electrical skills
- Desirable to have welding/fabrication skills
- PAT Testing
- Effective communication skills with a methodical approach
- Prioritising of jobs and maintenance requests
- Liaising with contractors on site
- Adhere to safety and compliance requirements at all times
