Engage Talent Partners are exclusively supporting our award-winning client to recruit a Mechanical Designer.

Based just South of Aberdeen, the company operate in the oil and gas, nuclear, renewables and industrial sectors and you would be joining them during a very exciting time. The business has enjoyed a successful year to date with some high-profile contract wins and aspire to grow over the next few years.

You would be involved in all aspects of the mechanical design process as part of delivering design / engineering solutions.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing project design using AutoCAD 2D & 3D plant, Inventor, Navisworks and the Microsoft packages.
  • Utilising Autodesk vault to ensure storage & maintenance of all CAD data produced.
  • Supporting Engineering to produce drawings for current projects.
  • Attending both internal & external design reviews.
  • Providing technical and drafting support for proposals required by the sales team.
  • Ensure all documentation used during or resulting from any projects are controlled in accordance with the company quality procedures.
  • To attend company training courses as required by company to ensure level of competency is maintained.

The ideal candidate will have experience from a similar role and be well versed in one of the following disciplines (Mechanical/Piping/Structural). You will be a competent user of AutoCAD 2D & 3D plant, Inventor and Navisworks or other similar industry software packages.

The successful candidate will enjoy a salary up to £50k, annual bonus and an attractive benefits package as well as a great work environment.
