A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Structural Engineer to join a well-established, successful, Civil and Structural Design Consultancy in a vibrant, friendly Structural Design team in Edinburgh. Working on an interesting mix of large scale residential, commercial, industrial and healthcare developments, you'll assist in working on a variety of interesting ventures from inception through to completion stage. Our client is offering a friendly and supportive work environment actively encouraging candidates to progress and develop towards Chartership.

In order to be considered for this Project Structural Engineer role you will;

• Have gained a strong Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (A Masters being preferred)
• You'll have a minimum of 2-3 years (or more) consultancy experience
• You'll have a working knowledge of AutoCAD
• Previous experience in other design software such as TEKLA/TEDDS/Revit would be beneficial though not essential
• You will work well as part of a close knit design team
• You will have strong communication skills both written and verbal
• You'll be keen to progress towards Chartership

Working as Project Structural Engineer you will;

• Assist in the preparation of drawings/designs
• Conduct site visits
• Generate survey reports
• Continue your personal development towards Chartership
• Work on projects from inception through to completion stage
