We are excited to be working with a well-established company who have been manufacturing from their site near Arbroath for over 40 years. They have an opportunity for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Within this role, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive and planned preventative maintenance, installation and repair of plant, equipment, and services across the manufacturing facility.

Role

  • Ensuring maximum uptime measures for plant and equipment are met by ensuring timely and efficient preventive maintenance and resolution of issues.
  • Maintaining machinery, supporting across a range of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic aspects of equipment maintenance.
  • Installation and testing
  • Commissioning of equipment
  • Also, be working with welding equipment, compressed air systems and overhead cranes.

Person

  • Electrical Engineering Maintenance or be a Time served Electrical Engineer
  • Extensive Electrical Engineering within a FMCG envirnoments
  • Full working knowledge of electrical systems with basic mechanical knowledge
  • Strong problem solving ability and manual dexterity
  • Knowledge of CMMS and building services.

This role is a Monday to Friday position paying up to £40000 p/a.
