Role Summary

We’re at an exciting stage in our growth journey and looking to make the most of our market presence. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving operational excellence through problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and the implementation of lean methodologies. The CI Manager will play a pivotal role in helping us stabilise and improve growth areas of the business, streamlining processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the organisation.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation, all of which offer a clear and favourable Return on Investment.
  • Conduct thorough analyses to identify product improvements, operational inefficiencies and other areas for improvement.
  • Implement and oversee the application of lean methodologies to optimise processes, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute improvement plans.
  • Utilise problem-solving and root-cause analysis techniques to address complex challenges.
  • Realise cost-savings.
  • Coach and train team members at all levels on RCA and CI methodologies and tools.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor, drive and report on the progress of CI projects, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement by promoting best practices and fostering innovation.
  • Support ISO initiatives to improve processes and standardise working methods.

What you’ll bring

We look for people who will add to our organisation and align with our Purpose and Values. Your experience, skills and competencies will include:

  • A track record of driving measurable improvements and achieving results.
  • 5 years of proven experience in continuous improvement, problem-solving, and root cause analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret data, and draw meaningful insights and actions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and experience in leading cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in lean methodologies such as RCA/CAPA, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar approaches. Certification in relevant CI methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience working in an ISO9001 and ISO27001 environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree is preferable, but not essential.
