Contract Scotland is partnering with a highly reputable, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor specialising in industrial services, civil infrastructure, and infrastructure projects. Currently, we are in search of a skilled Freelance Site Manager to contribute to a project located in Edinburgh.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cultivating positive relationships both on-site and off-site.
  • Efficiently managing the procurement of equipment and materials.
  • Supervising and coordinating staff and subcontractors.
  • Overseeing permits and safety inspections.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality standards.

To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should possess:

  • A minimum of an HNC level qualification in civil engineering.
  • Previous experience in site management within the civil engineering sector.
  • Mandatory certifications in SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), First Aid, and Temporary Works Supervisor, all of which are crucial for this role.

Here's what awaits you:

  • An immediate start date for a duration of 5-6 months.
  • Monday to Friday work hours.
  • £300 per day (PAYE only).
