Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking to join a well-known firm?

We are excited to be working in partnership with our leading client, in Glasgow who are looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their busy Cashroom team.

What you’ll do

  • Recording and managing all financial transactions

  • Allocation of client receipts

  • Process all office and client payments

  • Raising and paying in-cheques

  • Processing deposit account transactions

  • Allocating payment to fees

  • Processing balance reports

  • Reconciliation of client balances and deposit accounts

  • Residual balance investigation

  • Assist with cover for any other departmental tasks when required

  • Working with various Banks online systems

What you’ll need

  • Experience working within a busy cashiering environment

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Excellent numerical skills

  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-tasking to meet deadlines, be proactive

  • Possess a good knowledge of all relevant IT applications, MS Office, in particular Excel

  • Has a high level of attention to detail

  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written  

  • Good Solicitors Regulatory Authority, Anti Money Laundering Rules, and VAT knowledge
