£41,000 - £45,000/annum

Copello are working with an international defence company on the recruitment of a Early Careers and Skills Development coach. You will facilitate outstanding teaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire apprentices to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress into the business.

Duties include: 

  • Deliver outstanding coaching, learning and assessment practices that engage and inspire learners to fulfil their individual potential and develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully progress within the business
  • Take professional pride in their role and embrace continuous professional development opportunities in support of delivering innovative and impactful coaching, learning and assessment
  • Assess and monitor learner progress & performance in line with frameworks and legislative requirements to ensure occupational competence
  • Coach apprentices to reach their full potential by providing key support, mentoring, challenge and motivation throughout all aspects of their learning journey
  • Develop learners that are innovative thinkers and creative problem solvers, through coaching and delivering learning content as part of a blended learning pedagogy focused on delivering vocational excellence

Your skills and experiences: 

Essential:

  • Marine Paint experience preferred but will consider domestic painting experience

Desirable:

  •  L&D 9 or 11 advantageous
  •  Have a broad, multi-functional focus, looking across the Early Careers portfolio of activity
  • Comprehensive business knowledge to align requirements of apprentice learning curriculum and development
  • Knowledge and understanding of Awarding Bodies & SDS Quality Standards
  • Knowledge and experience of assessment/ verification practices and awarding body requirements
