Do you have a talent for teaching different age groups and a gift for delivering the best learning experience possible? We are looking for energetic, and motivated coaches to join our fun and exciting world of Gymnastics Trampoline and Preschool Gymnastics Coaching.

 

As an experienced Gymnastics, Trampoline or Preschool Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering fun, engaging, and inspiring lessons with a passion to help kids succeed.
  • Encouraging participants to learn and reach their full potential for their individual needs and abilities in a safe, fun, and nurturing environment.
  • Communicating effectively with both children and their parents/guardians.
  • Assisting with the creation of gymnastics activity lesson plans.
  • Mentoring and providing support to other coaches.
  • Implementing best practice training protocols in line with our standards, leading to exceptional customer satisfaction.   

 

We are looking for approachable, positive, and patient individuals that have:   

  • UKCC/SCC General, Women’s Artistic, Men’s Artistic, Trampoline or Preschool qualification Level 1 or above, or Gymnastics Activity Instructor award.
  • Great listening and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people to motivate, engage and provide constructive feedback. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a diverse group of people of differing abilities, stages, and ages.
  • Warm and welcoming personality topped with passion, and commitment.

We have various part-time posts (7.5 hrs is our minimum) at 6 venues throughout the city and there is even the potential to make this a full-time career (35.75 hrs). Please note that the position includes evenings and weekend work.

  • Drumbrae Leisure Centre
  • Gracemount Leisure Centre
  • Kirkliston Leisure Centre
  • Royal Commonwealth Pool
  • Tumbles at Portobello
