Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor - 

Location: Rosyth, Scotland

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

Duties and Responsibilities

Initial meeting with client and assessing project scope.

Producing accurate measures & take offs for projects.

Producing estimates & tenders for new projects

Produce and update procurement schedules for all projects.

Prepare the required documents to issue to subcontractors to enable them to tender effectively for works packages.

Identify appropriate subcontractors for all aspects of works.

Prepare client cost reports and billing.

Manage and monitor variations and changes.

Assist in the financial appraisal of new opportunities.

Work closely with architects and other professionals.

Navigate and understand building regulations & codes.

Process project paperwork and travel to sites as required.

Monitor costs and expenditure across the construction process.

Job Requirements

Experience of managing cost on projects within screeding, Insulation, Underfloor heating and resin flooring

Ability to work under pressure.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Solid experience in the construction industry

Experienced in creating detailed cost reports.

Experienced working within a principal building contractor
