Job Opportunity: Site Engineer (Dayshift and Nightshift) in Dundee

Our client, a renowned civil engineering contractor, is seeking to expand their team with the addition of two experienced freelance Site Engineers. This opportunity arises due to an increased workload and involves long-term projects based in Dundee.   They are looking for one Site Engineer for the dayshift and one for the nightshift.

Position Details

• Job Title: Site Engineer (Dayshift and Nightshift)
• Location: Dundee
• Contract Type: Temporary, up to one year
• Shift Patterns:
  • Dayshift: 07:00am – 19:00pm
  • Nightshift: 19:00pm – 07:00am
• Start Date: Mid June
• Payment Methods: PAYE or CIS
• Rate: Competitive rates based on experience

Responsibilities

• Setting out building levels
• Checking setting out for groundworks
• Quality check as-built drawings
• Ensuring safety targets and standards are always maintained
• Administration and record-keeping of Quality Assurance systems on site

What You’ll Need

• Demonstrated experience working on civil engineering projects
• Experience working on roads and drainage projects
• Knowledge of Trimble equipment
• Full UK driving license and own transport
• Valid CSCS Card
