Class 2 Driver - Immediate Starts Available

Menzies Distribution are looking for an HGV/LGV Class 2 Driver to join us, providing a first class service with our team in East Kilbride. You’ll be undertaking the delivery & collection of product on behalf of Menzies Distribution Solutions Limited and its customers.

The Details:

• Location: East Kilbride, G74 5LP
• Salary: £26,398.71 Per Annum
• Shift Pattern: Rotating 4 On/2 Off Nights
• Hours: 37.5 (based on a 12 hour shift) with 30mins unpaid break.   
• Holidays: 25 Days + bank holidays 
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite

HGV Class 1 Driver Duties:

• General driving duties, observing current legal and best practice delivering and collection to/from our customer’s premises or other locations.
• Delivering product on behalf of our client and their customer
• Use of electronic POD and up to date technology (full training provided)
• Assisting with loading and unloading

HGV Class 1 Driver Requirements:

• A full UK C+E licence
• 12 months previous class 1 driving experience
• Excellent driving skills
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• No previous disqualifications
• Good knowledge of drivers hours and WTD regulations
