Production Manager – Lanarkshire – Salary DOE 

Hospo Talent are currently recruiting a Production Manager for our client.... Our client is one of the UK’s leading Structural Steel Fabrication and Construction companies supplying and erecting fabricated steel nationwide  

Main Responsibilities: 

Manage and progress workloads including revisions & variations to drawings with Workshop Foreman and liaise with Works Manager. 

  • Review Fabrication Drawings, registers/Lot lists prior to shop floor issue, and ensure current and correct prior to production. 

  • Ensure Foremen deliver production plans by monitoring their performance and reviewing any issues that may arise. 

  • Review weekly Quality/NCR reports and action accordingly for root cause, corrective actions and close out. 

  • Ensuring assembly lines are efficiently supplied with all required processed parts. 

  • Develop the design and manufacture of templates and fixtures etc. for process improvements in relation to safety and productivity. 

  • Working with the planner on current and future workload. 

  • Ensuring the work times for various processes are correct in our time rating system before going to shop floor. 

  • Reviewing operator efficiency levels with production management team, identifying continuous improvement opportunities. 

  • Continual review of production methods, processes, equipment and products. 

Required Skills: 

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are required   

  • A good knowledge of Health and Safety.
