Yellow 42 Recruitment are working on behalf of a world-renowned historical site in the North of Scotland.  This is an exciting and varied role in the Food & Beverage team, helping to generate revenue and ensure that visitors from across the globe have an enjoyable experience through excellent service standards and menu availability. 

The Job – Cook

You will be responsible for the daily operation of the kitchen, delivering great quality food for high and low season, relevant to the customers.  As well as catering for the visitors, you will ensure that high standards of kitchen hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness, keeping up-to-date compliance documentation (HACCP, COSHH checklists and temperature sheets).  Suited to someone that has experience in a busy cafe environment.

The Person – Cook

The ideal candidate must be motivated and have experience as a cook in preparing and producing food to a consistently high standard using fresh products and ingredients.  Good knowledge and control of all Food Safety and Food Hygiene regulations and the ability to work as part of a busy team and use own initiative.
