Mechanical Fitter

TEXO Recruitment are searching for a Mechanical Fitter on behalf of our external client, on a permanent, full time basis.
The job will be based in Stonehaven when onshore and would be working in a team within a very well equipped workshop with salary dependent on experience.
Duties:
Work consists of mechanical fitting duties including but not limited to; dismantling and rebuilding a variety of mechanical and hydraulic equipment for example heat exchangers, pumps, turret gripper assemblies and a variety of components; completing pressure testing and carrying out maintenance of company plant and vehicles.
Requirements:
• Problem solver/inventive
• A basic understanding of electrical systems
• Understand mechanisms, and be comfortable with hydraulics
• High attention to detail
• Offshore experience and in date offshore certificates are preferred but not essential.
• MJI, SBT and shell and tube heat exchanger experience are preferred but not essential.
