A Global and prestigious organisation, providing first class ground support equipment maintenance at Airports UK wide and Internationally seek a Parts Controller / Inventory Controller / Storeman / Stores Person to join their stable and exciting business.
You will be given the full autonomy to manage and control the stores at Glasgow Airport and Edinburgh Airport respectively.
Candidates must note that this role will be based from Edinburgh Airport and you will also visit Glasgow Airport when required.
This hands on role will naturally require a highly organised individual, someone with direct and real experience of managing parts and stores operation.
You will be IT literate and competent in the use of databases and Excel.
Day to day operations would be the immediate safe keeping of parts at Glasgow Airport for ground support equipment and associated plant, checking stock levels, ordering parts, issuing parts to job sheets, managing deliveries, identifying stock forecasting and planning with the workshop team and maintaining a stock level inventory system.
This role will allow you to implement any streamlining suggestions you may have and can be built around the right person who likes to get hands on.
