Due to continued growth, a trusted client of mine is currently looking to increase it's Glasgow-based team. They are interested in speaking to any individuals who would be interested in further developing their career within Building Performance Modelling.

Working as a pivotal part in their Building Performance Modelling team, you will aim to assist in the development of decarbonisation, energy and sustainability strategies for new-build and existing buildings. This role will give you the opportunity to further your knowledge of environmental systems for buildings, provide sustainability advice and undertake numerous kinds of assessments. All of which will be done alongside working towards your professional membership, if not yet attained.

Within their dedicated BPM team, IES-VE is the primary software focus, and therefore experience using this tool is a MUST! In addition, a good understanding of operational energy calculation using decarbonisation studies, BREEAM and NABERS, as well as TM54 will also be beneficial.

Skills:

-2+ years knowledge and experience of building physics, particularly relating to heat transfer, energy, thermal comfort and natural ventilation.

-Experience working with IES-VE software
