Responsibilities in your new role as the Whisky Specialist

• Ensure a consistent, luxurious, and personalised guest experience by welcoming and providing personal care to guests.
• Execute all bar activities under the guidance of the F&B Operations Manager, including service, cost control, and expanding the whisky collection.
• Develop creative ideas that drive revenue and deliver the ultimate guest experience, reflecting the venue’s Scottish spirit.
• Coordinate with brand ambassadors and suppliers to enhance partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to elevate quality standards in beverage setup, presentation, and atmosphere.
• Maintain ownership of the bar area, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service at all times.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of proven management experience in a high-quality bar setting, preferably within a luxury hotel environment. They must possess a deep knowledge of whisky and demonstrate a strong passion for further enhancing this expertise. You should be a creative thinker with the ability to contribute innovative ideas to enhance the bar's offerings and guest experiences.
