Responsibilities in your new role as the Bar Supervisor

• Ensure guests receive personalised care and a consistently luxurious experience.
• Inspire and motivate the junior bar team to excel in their roles.
• Supervise all bar activities in the hotel’s bars, supported by senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve quality standards for beverage setup, presentation, and atmosphere.
• Handle guest recovery situations promptly and effectively.
• Manage cash handling and cash-up procedures, promptly resolving any discrepancies.

Your personality, experience and qualifications

To be eligible for this role as Bar Supervisor, you must have a minimum of 2 years of proven supervisory experience in a quality bar, ideally within a luxury hotel setting. You should possess strong knowledge of spirits and mixology, alongside a deep passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Excellent communication skills are essential, and you should be enthusiastic with a positive personality, capable of building genuine and trusting relationships. Demonstrated organisational and leadership qualities are also a must.
