The below job description will outline this position of: (Electrical fitter)

Typically, this person will be working within the Maritime industry on the repair and refit of the Vessels.

Duties and responsibilities of the (Electrical Fitter):

•  To undertake electrical fitting activities, repairs and inspections on systems and equipment on all aspects of work completed within the estate and when required in other sections.             
• Ensure the work is carried out in line with current processes and make suggestions on improving systems and processes to increase productivity in accordance with set objectives and time scales         
•  Identification and reflection of all systems, manufacture defects and alterations to ensure the continued availability and performance of the estate            
• Interpret drawings, procedures, standards when maintaining, repairing or altering any system.

Qualifications and requirement for the (insert job title):

•    NVQ L3 or equivalent Apprenticeship in their field 
•    Candidates will have a Marine/ Shipbuilding / Ship repair background.
•    Candidates must have full SC clearance,
