Hydrasun is a recognised market leader in the provision of integrated fluid transfer, power and control solutions. We are focused on supporting the energy transition through our work in the oil and gas, renewable energy, general industrial and marine industries worldwide.
We are recruiting for a Technical Training Specialist based in our Glasgow facility, however will be required to travel to other Hydrasun or Customer locations.
Experience and Key Attributes:
- Experience and strong track record in delivery of internal and external technical training to a high standard.
- Demonstrable track record of achievement in meeting personal training and competency objectives.
- Experience and strong track record of achieving continuous improvement and increased efficiency and effectiveness in the context of best practice in learning and development.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deliver innovative solutions in the context of continuous improvement.
- Strong communication skills to achieve the stated purpose of the role, with the ability to clearly communicate and engage with the wider organisation.
- A clear understanding of the importance of accountability in the context of compliance with learning and competency management system processes, procedures and defined standards.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensure that all learning activities are developed, delivered, and assessed in accordance with the defined CMS (competency management system) process as detailed within the ISO:9001(2015) standard.
- To deliver internal and external technical training in line with Hydrasun’s HSE, Quality and Training standards ensuring that all processes and procedures are reviewed and are fit for purpose in accordance with the defined policy and objectives.
- To ensure the implementation of innovative training solutions and effective learning evaluation processes to measure the quality and effectiveness of internal and external training programmes, in the context of continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and support to the organisation in relation to specific learning and development requirements, including internal verification of competence where applicable.
- Ensure that all training activities are executed as per the requirements defined within the HSE, Quality and Training management systems.
- Continue to support and develop new training materials in-line with customer feedback, customer needs and continuous improvement, to ensure that the quality and content of Hydrasun’s training meets the required performance expectations and standards.
- Establish and cement strong working relationships at all levels of the organisation including our key external customers.
- To provide the Commercial Training Lead with the required flexibility to deliver to customers global training requirements and Hydrasun’s internal competency requirements.
