About the Role

Our store at Merkland Drive, Kirkintilloch has been fully refurbished and offers a local Post Office, an extensive Food to Go offer, and the Snappy Shopper online delivery service. With a team of 35 colleagues, the store has great potential for growth.

As a Store Manager, you will lead and motivate your team to exceed customer expectations. In addition, your key focus areas will include driving sales, ensuring great product availability and store standards, and team development.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidates will have retail management experience and will be ready to make the move into a larger store.  You will have first class leadership skills and be willing to assist the Regional Business Manager in supporting the region.

You must be able to demonstrate that you have:

• Proven people management skills
• An understanding and achievement of KPIs
• A passion for retail excellence, standards, and customer service
• The ambition to drive the team and store to higher levels of retailing
• A talent for performance management and succession planning

Requirements

To ensure that we comply with alcohol licensing legislation applicants must be aged 18 or over and will ideally be eligible to become a Personal Licence Holder.  You will be required to successfully complete Post Office Limited’s security and background checking processes.
