- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical projects, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, and other mechanical systems.
- Bid Preparation: Analyse project drawings and specifications to prepare detailed bid proposals.
- Material Takeoffs: Perform material takeoffs and prepare bill of quantities for mechanical components.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with suppliers and vendors to obtain competitive pricing for materials and subcontracted work.
- Budget Management: Assist in developing project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks in the estimation process and suggest mitigation strategies.
- Project Handover: Collaborate with project managers to ensure seamless handover of the project budget and scope of work.
