Blow Moulding Technician

Full-Time (4 on 4 off shifts)

Salary: £39,650.15 annually

We are seeking a skilled Blow Moulding Technician to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimising, supporting, and maintaining production equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality output. This role is crucial in driving site performance through continuous improvement and problem-solving activities.

Main Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate blow moulding equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production machinery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Monitor and optimize machine performance.
• Conduct quality checks and maintain documentation.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior technicians and operators.
• Report and resolve any safety or quality incidents.
• Maintain hygiene and housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements:

• Technical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, ONC Manufacturing Engineering, NVQ 3 Manufacturing).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a blow moulding or plastics manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Confident with IT.
• Ability to work shifts.
• Attention to detail, self-motivated, and a team player.
