Marketing Coordinator Role
Location: Edinburgh office
About the Role: Our client are a continuously growing restaurant brand in the UK, is looking for a pro-active Marketing Coordinator. This role is essential in supporting the marketing department by assisting in the execution of innovative marketing strategies and campaigns. You'll be working closely with the Marketing Lead to create content, manage social media platforms, data collect, trend analysis, and assist in various marketing operations to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
They are offering up to £30K (DOE).
Role Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Coordinator to support our client’s marketing team, executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Lead to boost their brand visibility, engage with audiences, and manage relationships that drive customer acquisition and loyalty. You will be integral to supporting the overall marketing strategy through content creation, social media management, influencer partnerships, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Marketing Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Content Creation:
- Create compelling content for social media platforms, websites, email newsletters, and other marketing materials.
- Develop visual content in line with the brand’s identity and voice to engage the audience.
- Assist in creating promotional materials for marketing campaigns, special events, and restaurant launches.
Social Media Management:
- Assist on the social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts) by scheduling posts, responding to comments, and engaging with followers to build a vibrant community.
- Monitor trends to ensure content is relevant and engaging, forecasting upcoming trends to enhance our marketing efforts.
- Report on social media performance metrics, analysing data to inform future campaigns and optimise content strategy.
Influencer & Partnership Coordination:
- Identify and collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to expand the restaurant’s reach in new and existing markets.
- Assist in sourcing and managing student partnerships to increase brand presence and community engagement.
- Track influencer performance to assess ROI and build long-term relationships.
Event Support:
- Assist the Marketing Lead in planning, organising, and promoting events, including restaurant openings, influencer dinners, and local community engagements.
Data Collection & Reporting:
- Data gathering for specific promotions and month on month campaigns.
- Track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of campaigns, including customer acquisition, brand awareness, lead generation, and engagement metrics.
- Provide monthly reports on social media performance, email marketing effectiveness, and campaign impact, presenting actionable insights to optimise future efforts.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Growth of social media followers and engagement.
- Successful coordination of influencer and partnership activities.
- Increase in brand awareness and reach.
- Customer satisfaction based on reviews and feedback.
- Successfully monitor data input on campaigns, weekly and monthly social media reports.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience (1-2 years) in a marketing, social media, or content creation role.
- Strong skills in social media management, including Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail and creativity.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with the ability to collaborate across departments and work independently when required.
- Proficiency in using marketing tools and platforms, such as social media management software, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools.
- A passion for food, hospitality, and building a brand that connects with customers.
- Confident and comfortable behind and in front of a camera.
Desirable Skills:
- A background within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in influencer marketing or partnership management.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
