Job Profile
As a Private Client Solicitor, you will be responsible for managing a diverse caseload that includes Wills, Trusts, Executry Estates, Powers of Attorney, Tax and Wealth Planning, and Asset Protection. You will work closely with high-net-worth individuals, families, and other stakeholders, offering tailored legal advice to meet their personal and financial goals.
Duties:
- Draft and advise on Wills, ensuring they meet the specific needs and objectives of the clients.
- Manage Executry Estates, handling probate and estate administration from start to finish, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Provide expert advice on setting up and managing Trusts, focusing on effective wealth protection and tax efficiency.
- Assist clients with Powers of Attorney, ensuring that their financial and personal welfare needs are properly safeguarded.
- Offer bespoke advice on Tax and Wealth Planning, with an emphasis on reducing liability and protecting client assets for future generations.
- Work closely with clients to develop effective Asset Protection strategies, helping to safeguard family wealth and ensuring compliance with legal and financial regulations.
- Provide tailored, high-quality legal advice to clients on a range of private client matters, ensuring a high level of service delivery.
- Develop strong client relationships, maintaining regular communication and offering ongoing advice and support.
- Manage client expectations and ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with external professionals, including accountants, financial advisors, and other solicitors to ensure a comprehensive service is delivered.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Private Client Solicitor, with expertise in Wills, Trusts, Executry Estates, Powers of Attorney, Tax and Wealth Planning, and Asset Protection.
- Excellent knowledge of private client law, tax regulations, and estate planning.
- Strong drafting and advisory skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively to clients.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage a varied caseload effectively.
- High level of professionalism, with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellent client service.
- Full rights to work in the UK, with a valid practising certificate.
Hours of Work:
- 35 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00 to 17:15
