**Position Summary:**
As a CNC Machinist, you will play a pivotal role in our manufacturing process by operating and programming CNC milling or turning machines. Your expertise in machining techniques and attention to detail will be essential in producing high-quality parts to meet customer specifications. While CAD/CAM experience is beneficial, we value technical proficiency, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to new technologies. This role may be particularly appealing to individuals seeking more autonomy and control over their work processes.
**Responsibilities:**
- Set up and operate CNC milling or turning machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and instructions to determine machine setup and programming requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and materials for each job.
- Program and adjust machine settings to optimize performance and ensure accuracy.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure machines operate at peak efficiency.
- Perform quality control inspections to verify part dimensions and adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to identify process improvements and enhance production efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specializing in milling or turning operations.
- Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines (e.g., Haas, Fanuc, Siemens).
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques, cutting tools, and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software (preferred but not required).
- Solid understanding of measurement instruments and quality control procedures.
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
