The Project Manager role with our client offers an exceptional opportunity to lead and manage various projects for a key client account, spanning the full project lifecycle from design and implementation to completion.

This role is ideal for an experienced, driven project manager who thrives on autonomy and accountability and seeks the flexibility to self-manage while delivering impactful projects.

Job Description

You’ll work on a range of projects, benefiting from strong support from the central project team, and you’ll have the chance to develop and maintain meaningful relationships with stakeholders.

This role allows you to directly contribute to our client's success, with responsibility for ensuring projects are on budget, on time, and executed to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage live and upcoming projects across multiple sites
  • Develop and maintain a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and budget
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, from initiation through to completion and handover
  • Ensure strict adherence to governance, Health & Safety standards, and commercial compliance
  • Manage small to medium-sized construction projects (valued between £200k and £1 million), including asset replacements, minor office refurbishments, and capital projects

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

  • Extensive Project management experience with a strong record of successful delivery
  • Proven stakeholder management abilities
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication, both verbal and written
  • Familiarity with key operational procedures, including project planning, planned maintenance systems, quality, and Health & Safety standards
  • Proficiency in information technology, particularly Microsoft 365 and MS Project

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree, HND, or equivalent technical qualification
    Recognised project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2)

Training Options:

  • For candidates needing support with specific systems, internal training on project management software and operational procedures can be provided
  • Courses on advanced stakeholder engagement, presentation skills, and Health & Safety compliance can also be arranged if necessary
