An opportunity has arisen for an Operations Supervisor to join us at Shaw Pipeline Services (SPS), a growing business that provides pipeline weld inspection services to the oil & gas industry. Along with a salary of circa £35,000 per annum, you will also receive 33 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays), enhanced company pension, private medical & dental insurance, life assurance, shopping discounts, cycle to work scheme and an employee assistance programme 

This is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. As Operations Supervisor, you will support the Operations Manager in delivering project services to our clients. A typical day may see you involved with personnel scheduling & certification, ensuring equipment is available, updating and issuing documentation & managing compliance with Health & Safety processes 

We’re looking for an Operations Supervisor with the following essential requirements: 

• Previous experience in a busy technical operations role, ideally oil & gas pipeline related
• Excellent organisation, administration, communication and interpersonal skills
• A person who is pro-active, committed to excellence and willingly takes accountability 

Desirable: 

• Previous experience in an NDT environment
• PCN certification
