What Are We Looking For?

RSE is delighted to invite applications to join our in-house Training department as we look to bolster our team with the addition of a Training Instructor, working out of our Cumbernauld office, to aid in the development of our people as well as our strategic business goals. A key part of your role will involve maintaining our NPORS documentation for our accredited status, as well as delivering internal courses to the RSE business.

Some of Your Key Duties Include:

  • Deliver plant equipment-based courses including Forklift, MEWP and Overhead Crane to the RSE Group of Companies and externally to potential Clients as required.
  • Deliver competency-based programs to the RSE Group of Companies including Health & Safety, Manual Handling, RAMS and others.
  • Keep up to date with developments in training by researching relevant journals, attending meetings/courses accredited standards and procedures and produce reports as requested by the Training Manager.
  • Help to ensure that the RSE Group of Companies maintain their legal compliance with regard to their Training and Health & Safety obligations.
  • Monitor and review the progress of trainees using questionnaires and discussions with the relevant Line Manager.
  • Complete and monitor the return of various training reports, assisting management to ensure all actions are completed on time and reminders issued for those outstanding.
  • To always promote QHSE activities in a positive manner.
  • Perform other technical duties as required by the Training department.

What Do You Need?

  • Proven experience in a training role.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to work to clearly defined timescales.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage and motivate a room of delegates.
  • Good interpersonal and team working skills.
  • An understanding of data protection principles.
  • A positive, flexible and pro-active approach to work.
  • Is prepared to travel to all group locations across Scotland and England
  • Full UK Driving Licence
