NDT Inspector MPI & UT

Our client based in the Central Belt and one of the largest Naval Shipbuilding companies in the world are looking for a number of NDT Inspectors with MPI and UT PCN qualifications for a minimum 6 month contract.
Reporting to the Senior QC Inspector you will be carrying out structural inspection and acceptance of ship structures, MPI and UT inspections of welds and components and managing the ITR inspection regime and maintaining completions records.
To be considered for this role you will have completed an apprenticeship in Welding and Fabrication or Marine Engineering, you will have a minimum of PCN Level 2 MPI & UT with proven experience of conducting inspections and you must also be able to read and interpret engineering drawings
This is a PAYE role
Standard hours of work are 36 per week Monday to Thursday
Unlimited overtime which is paid at Time and a Half and Double Time
You must be able to pass BPSS and a DBS and further down the line SC Clearance
Please note to be considered for one of these roles you must live in the UK and be able to supply Proof of Right to Work in the UK
