Our client is looking for a People & Culture Manager to join their team during a pivotal and exciting time, as our client mobilises one of its largest contracts to date.

Job Description
As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will provide commercial, business-focused HR guidance and support across a variety of people matters.
Your core focus will be leading mobilisation and transition projects — ensuring that all processes are compliant with regulatory standards and client policies, while fostering a positive, values-led experience for our people throughout the transition.
This is more than a traditional HR role. It’s an opportunity to make a real impact, influence change, and work closely with senior leaders across the business.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of people management to the People & Culture team and business/project managers.
- Lead and support mobilisation, transition, and change management projects across the business.
- Deliver People & Culture-related training to managers, promoting best practice and compliance.
- Support managers in implementing effective people management practices aligned with company and client policies.
- Maintain regular communication and progress reporting with the Head of People & Culture.
- Ensure People & Culture teams fully understand project requirements and timelines.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Promote and ensure compliance with company and client People & Culture policies.
- Champion equal opportunities, cultural diversity, and inclusive practices in the workplace.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in people practices across the business.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Proven experience advising and supporting management on a wide range of people management issues
- Strong understanding of UK employment law, including some exposure to TUPE and organisational change
- Experience working with unions and managing HR-related projects and initiatives
- Able to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines
- Confident communicator with strong influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Positive and adaptable, with a flexible approach to change and innovation
- Demonstrates strong organisational skills and team collaboration
- Full UK driving licence required
