STEM recruitment solutions have a superb opportunity with a Global Manufacturer in the Glasgow area for a Controls Engineer.

The successful candidate will develop new electrical, control and automation systems for use in the company’s production process. You will problem solve and troubleshoot any existing electrical and control issues and provide innovative solutions and designs.

As a Control Engineer, your duties will include:

Designing and implementing new systems and processes

Identifying and addressing technical challenges.

Ensuring compliance with global standards.

Crafting system specifications.

Partnering with suppliers to optimise the process.

Re-styling systems for new projects being undertaken.

This role would suit someone with experience designing control systems from scratch and building them.

You will have a sound knowledge of control systems including PLC’s, HMI and SCADA.
