A leading UK multidisciplinary consultancy is expanding its dynamic Planning team in Edinburgh and is seeking an experienced Town Planner to contribute to a growing portfolio of diverse and high-impact projects.

About the Role

You'll support the delivery of a wide variety of planning applications across key sectors including residential, mixed-use developments, data centres, airports, retail, logistics, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

A major focus will be on strategic planning for renewable energy and national infrastructure, including managing submissions for Planning, S36, S37, Marine, and EIA applications.

Your Profile

• Chartered Member of the RTPI (or nearing submission).
• Planning experience within a consultancy or local authority (Scottish experience a bonus, but not essential).
• Strong grasp of planning policy, ideally within the Scottish context.
• A proactive mindset with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident problem-solver and strategic thinker.
• Passion for planning, development, and environmental sustainability.
