As a Technical Publications Author, your responsibilities will include:

• Creating and maintaining a range of technical documents including CMMs, SILs, training manuals, installation instructions, and service bulletins
• Ensuring all publications align with relevant industry standards and internal quality processes
• Supporting improvements in documentation methods, systems, and workflows
• Collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, configuration, and customer support teams
• Managing your workload to meet documentation deadlines and on time delivery performance targets

As a Technical Publications Author, your experience will include:

• Experience compiling technical publications within an engineering or manufacturing environment (aviation/aerospace would be desirable)
• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker or similar
• Experience with 2D illustration software such as IsoDraw
• Understanding of Simplified Technical English (ASD-STE 100)
• Knowledge of technical standards such as iSpec2200 (desirable)
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and to strict deadlines
