Our client is looking for a for a Senior HSE Advisor for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen with occasional site visits to Shetland.

ROLE

To support the HSE team and provide statistical information and trend analysis for corporate and departmental use. The position must support in the overall delivery of the business objectives through the aligning of deliverables to that of the individual Business Unit strategy. Reporting directly to the Manager. This role is critical to our success as we evolve into one of the leading EPC contractors in the market. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that our continued registration to ISO 9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 are not compromised in any way.
  • Carry out planned internal HSE Audits to ensure compliance with the requirements of the procedures and current legislative requirements.
  • Ensure that all new personnel are given induction training and, where necessary, refresher training on the requirements of the HSE Integrated Management System.
  • Participate in the Emergency Response process as and when required and ensure that any lessons learned are incorporated into the HSE Management System.
  • Prepare all necessary information for presentation during the planned HSE Management Review Meetings.
  • Ensure that the HSE Manager is immediately notified of any HSE issues which cannot be readily resolved.
  • Undertake Incident Investigations and Root Cause Analysis, develop Action Plans and ensure compliance with these.
  • In conjunction with the HSE Manager ensure that there is a progressive improvement in the HSE Management System. 
  • To interpret and ensure compliance with all legislation relevant to the business undertaking and job function.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven ability in Leading complex client projects in the Oil & Gas industry.
  • Excellent stakeholder Leadership skills.
  • Strong communicator and proven ability to deliver results across a complex group of internal, and external, stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in Oil and Gas Operations, projects, and turnarounds.
